Innovate Media - Sunshine Coast Video Production & Video Marketing Agency 39 Google reviews Shannon Lemanski10 October 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was a small business owner that had been trading less than 12-months when I was introduced to Ben at a Caloundra Chamber of Commerce event at Innovate Media. My company specialises in water-from-air technology and as the tech is reasonably new, the first question we always get is “how does it work?” Unfortunately, regardless of how we explained it or what props we used; a lot of our customers just couldn’t visualise how the technology worked. We quickly realised this was one of the biggest bottle necks to conversions, and we needed a reliable way to convey this information to potential customers. Although we’d tried PowerPoint and other online animation tools, nothing was resonating with our audience. That’s how we knew we needed a video – but had no idea of how to make one. Ben and the Innovate team made that video for us – and although we’d heard they were good, the end product was better than we ever could have imagined! After a quick session and having sent over just a few assets, Ben and the team delivered us a first cut that included animation, voice over and awesome stock footage. We reviewed that version, provided some guidance and the final product was delivered to a high standard perfect for our market channels. Now we have an awesome asset for our website, socials and trade shows, that easily demonstrate our customers what the tech is and how it works! Love what the Innovate team do – will be commissioning another project through them soon! Michael Molloy15 August 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. At dtb! We recently collaborated with Ben and the team at Innovate Media on a large project for a medical client involving a range of elearning content and marketing videos. We had worked with them previously and knew they would be the right team for a project that had MANY moving parts. From end-to-end the team was A-1. Planning, scripting, client management, shoot planning, talent, the shoot and edit were seamless. The final videos nailed the brief and are now being used to train medical teams nationwide. Thanks Ben, you're the best and we look forward to working with you again. Clint Eve McIntyre30 April 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Fabulous service, very happy! DYFA Plumbing and Electrical24 October 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had Innovate help us with some reels for our social media. Helped us all the way through the process with initial strategy calls, establishing and assisting with content through to the actual filming. Where as plumbers and electricians we needed a lot of help and guidance for the filming! This was greatly appreciated and the production of the reels turned them into professional footage. Thank you to Ben and the team and we are looking forward to getting these out on to all our platforms and producing interest and leads to our company. Brad John11 September 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Innovate Media's work is outstanding! I would have to say that Ben's work finds a way of capturing the essence and soul of what you want to put out into the world. One of my core values in my business is authenticity and so I thought I would include an 'in the moment' response to my own branding video being finalised. See below; "I know your email said there is no need to reply after approving it. But I just wanted to express how in awe I am of your work, and it means alot. Very grateful and happy about what you have created to represent my practice. This experience has been really amazing. Thanks so much". When it comes to doing video marketing for your business, one of the biggest hurdles is actually coming up with effective ideas for your video content. Here are five super simple ways to generate relevant ideas for your video marketing strategy.
If you’re doing any sort of video for your business, then one of the things that you’re probably struggling with is coming up with ideas on a consistent basis. Consistency really is key when it comes to video marketing, because by showing up consistently with valuable information and providing value to your target audience, then you’re going to stay top of mind. You’re going to be positioned as the expert that you are. Most importantly, you’re going to be building relationships with your ideal prospects in order to move them closer to making the decision to buy from you when it’s time to buy from you.
#1 Ask your Audience
The first one is as simple as asking your audience. It sounds super simple and it probably is, but take the time to actually ask either your current prospects or your current clients what they want to hear from you? What do they want to know? What do they struggle with that you can potentially help them with through a short video? One of my favourite ways of doing this is what I call a single question survey. It is simply asking in whichever way that makes sense in the way that you interact with your prospects or your clients. Just asking them one question can unpack so much value.
Here’s an example for a video marketing business:
When it comes to video marketing for your business, what’s the one biggest thing that you struggle with?
That’s the single question survey. That’s the format of it. You can rephrase that for your business. If you’re a financial planner, you can say:
When it comes to saving for your retirement, what’s the one biggest thing that you struggle with, or one biggest concern that you have?
This single question survey is so powerful because when you can get answers from people, it can unpack so much about what is really behind the value, the information that you could potentially share with them. The first tip is just asking your audience, ask them the right questions and then show up for them with the answers through your video content – simple as that.
#2 YouTube Auto Suggest
Number two is, and this is one of my favourites is using YouTube’s auto-suggest function. Open Youtube.com, not to a specific video, just to the YouTube search bar and start typing in something around your topic of interest or your area of expertise.
Then you will see what YouTube throws up as what people are searching for. YouTube is a very powerful search engine and connected with Google. If you can tap into this and use the auto-suggest functionality of YouTube to actually expose what people are searching for on the platform, then this could become content for your video marketing strategy, even if you’re not using it on YouTube itself. Maybe you’re publishing videos on LinkedIn or on Facebook or on your Instagram TV, but using YouTube functionality like this can reveal a lot of possibilities.
#3 Keyword Research
This is one of the age-old ways of actually finding content ideas and it’s relevant for video marketing, and also for blog articles and more. That’s the idea of doing keyword research. Now, you’ve probably heard about this idea of keyword research before, and you’ve probably undertaken some sort of keyword research when crafting your website. But when we’re doing keyword research in the world of video marketing or for video ideas, we need to filter it through a different lens. It’s not just about ranking for certain keywords that we’re trying to create content to rank for. Instead, we’re looking for patterns of human behaviour. We’re looking through the keyword research data that we can gather for ideas that help us get clear on what sort of information people want from us. That forms the basis of ideas for your video content. Some of my favourite keyword research tools, which we won’t go into a lot of detail here is, Ubersuggest by Neil Patel and the other one is Keywords Everywhere. Ubersuggest is free for a quite a lot of functionality and Keywords Everywhere is very cheap to secure what you need to get the right amount of keyword search. Both tools are very easy to use and very simple tools.
#4 Social Listening
Tip four is social listening and what we’re talking about here is just being part of your audience. As a video creator or a business looking to create valuable videos for your audience, you need to hang out where your audience hangs out. What this means is being part of Facebook groups or LinkedIn groups, or following certain other pages that are in your niche or in your industry and listening for what people are commonly asking about, that you can help with. It’s social listening within your own social media pages as well. What are the common questions that you get? What are people commenting that they need to know more about? How can you craft your video ideas around what’s being shared and what you can find when you’re paying attention or listening in those social networks that are around your niche area of expertise, your industry, or your business?
#5 Ask your Sales Team
Tip five is to ask your sales team. Whoever your sales focused people in your organisation are, they’re the people that are at the ground face or the coalface or the chalk face or whatever that phrase is. They’re the people who are hearing common questions, objections, or concerns from your ideal target audience and they’re hearing that through the sales process. If you can create content in your video marketing strategy, that is based around these common objections; these common questions; these common areas that require clarification in your business or in your niche area of expertise or industry; then that can provide super powerful and effective content to wrap your video marketing strategy around.
So hopefully that’s helpful for you, and you can implement these to get some great ideas for your upcoming video marketing strategy.
