Innovate Media - Sunshine Coast Video Production & Video Marketing Agency 39 Google reviews Shannon Lemanski10 October 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was a small business owner that had been trading less than 12-months when I was introduced to Ben at a Caloundra Chamber of Commerce event at Innovate Media. My company specialises in water-from-air technology and as the tech is reasonably new, the first question we always get is “how does it work?” Unfortunately, regardless of how we explained it or what props we used; a lot of our customers just couldn’t visualise how the technology worked. We quickly realised this was one of the biggest bottle necks to conversions, and we needed a reliable way to convey this information to potential customers. Although we’d tried PowerPoint and other online animation tools, nothing was resonating with our audience. That’s how we knew we needed a video – but had no idea of how to make one. Ben and the Innovate team made that video for us – and although we’d heard they were good, the end product was better than we ever could have imagined! After a quick session and having sent over just a few assets, Ben and the team delivered us a first cut that included animation, voice over and awesome stock footage. We reviewed that version, provided some guidance and the final product was delivered to a high standard perfect for our market channels. Now we have an awesome asset for our website, socials and trade shows, that easily demonstrate our customers what the tech is and how it works! Love what the Innovate team do – will be commissioning another project through them soon! Michael Molloy15 August 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. At dtb! We recently collaborated with Ben and the team at Innovate Media on a large project for a medical client involving a range of elearning content and marketing videos. We had worked with them previously and knew they would be the right team for a project that had MANY moving parts. From end-to-end the team was A-1. Planning, scripting, client management, shoot planning, talent, the shoot and edit were seamless. The final videos nailed the brief and are now being used to train medical teams nationwide. Thanks Ben, you're the best and we look forward to working with you again. Clint Eve McIntyre30 April 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Fabulous service, very happy! DYFA Plumbing and Electrical24 October 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had Innovate help us with some reels for our social media. Helped us all the way through the process with initial strategy calls, establishing and assisting with content through to the actual filming. Where as plumbers and electricians we needed a lot of help and guidance for the filming! This was greatly appreciated and the production of the reels turned them into professional footage. Thank you to Ben and the team and we are looking forward to getting these out on to all our platforms and producing interest and leads to our company. Brad John11 September 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Innovate Media's work is outstanding! I would have to say that Ben's work finds a way of capturing the essence and soul of what you want to put out into the world. One of my core values in my business is authenticity and so I thought I would include an 'in the moment' response to my own branding video being finalised. See below; "I know your email said there is no need to reply after approving it. But I just wanted to express how in awe I am of your work, and it means alot. Very grateful and happy about what you have created to represent my practice. This experience has been really amazing. Thanks so much". Client: Country to Coast, Qld (CCQ)
Project: Primary Care Enhancement Program (PCEP) eLearning Course Content Videos
Country to Coast, Qld (CCQ) is an independent not-for-profit commissioning organisation funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health to improve health outcomes. It is a Primary Health Network (PHN) provider, servicing Central Queensland, Wide Way and Sunshine Coast Regions. CCQ identifies where health services are needed and provides support and resources for GPs, allied health care providers, hospitals and the broader community.
We wanted a point of difference that actually connected with the human factors… Innovate Media helped us create content where the voice of the consumer, the person with intellectual disability, came through really strongly.

Deputy Director Primary Care EngagementCountry to Coast, QLD
Requirement
CCQ is funded to deliver the Primary Care Enhancement Program (PCEP), which aims to optimise the training and development of primary health providers and commissioners in delivering person centred care for individuals with intellectual disabilities. To support better care delivery an interdisciplinary online education package containing high-quality, interactive, and on-demand microlearning content was scoped. The content was to cover essential topics such as chronic disease management, oral health, and safe prescribing, with real-life consumer stories integrated to enhance and support the learning experience.
Process
Innovate Media has partnered with Country to Coast, Qld to deliver numerous video projects prior to the PCEP project initiative. Our Creative Director, Ben Amos was engaged to consult on the video story elements during the project scoping phase to determine the deliverables of the project and how to best convey both the issues faced by people living with disabilities and solutions that health care providers could learn. Ben was involved in community consultation with the Council for Intellectual Disability and a Sunshine Coast disability advocacy group to flesh out the style, type and topics for the videos.
The final scope of video components for the eLearning course comprised of 13 videos of 1-5 minute duration, being a mix of:
- Role play scenarios
- Stories told by consultants living with intellectual disabilities, or their carers
- Candid vox pop style interview segments
Innovate Media won the tender for the video production aspect of the online microlearning package, partnering with Health Staff Ed to deliver the health workers’ learning content and the Learning Management System.
The scale and complexity of this project necessitated a thorough pre-production phase where Ben met numerous times with CCQ, the various consultants with intellectual disabilities, advocacy groups and clinicians to further map out the content, stories and interview questions before working through the scripting and approvals process with the various stakeholders. Our approach to authentic storytelling is a collaborative process which focussed on empathy, inclusivity and respect for the consultants. This inclusive approach not only enhanced the quality and relevance of the content but also fostered a sense of ownership and empowerment among the stakeholders.
The filming phase of production was completed within three weeks with multiple shoot locations across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast and worked around the schedules and intricate needs of the consultants with intellectual disabilities. With careful planning, the post production phase was condensed to six weeks to fit within the tight schedule of the overall project deliverables.
Our core aim was to produce video content that drives positive change within the health care community and authentically reflects the realities of people living with a disability while upholding their dignity and agency.
On behalf of Parent to Parent Qld, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Innovate Media for their exceptional professionalism while filming and working with people with intellectual disabilities for the Primary Care Enhancement Project.
Your team approached each person with genuine care, respect, and sensitivity, capturing not just their stories but their spirit and uniqueness.
The atmosphere during filming made everyone feel valued, comfortable and empowered to share their stories with ease in front of the camera, which is reflected in the authentic content you produced.
Your dedication to representing people with disabilities, families and carers with dignity and positivity is truly commendable.
The high-quality e-learning modules you have developed will undoubtedly make a significant impact in improving health outcomes for people with intellectual disabilities.
Thank you for fostering an inclusive and supportive environment with every interaction and for capturing the unique stories, the individuality and enabling people with intellectual disabilities to shine.
We look forward to future opportunities to collaborate with Innovate Media.

Transcript of Jasmine’s Testimonial
We’re in a bit of a education overload at the moment. We have webinars available every day of the week, probably hour an hour, and we wanted a point of difference that actually connected him with the human factors. So for us, we wanted to make sure that that voice of the consumer, the person with intellectual disability, came through really strongly in the content that we created.
Country to Coast Queensland are launching a learning management system for us. It’s a huge milestone, but it’s also a, I guess, direction that we’re setting in terms of having online learning content available at people’s fingertips. I think it’s an emerging way to learn and to digest information. Having that flexibility to be able to jump in and out of content is important. Certainly something we hear anecdotally from our clinicians that they want to be able to, you know, just choose their own adventure when it comes to learning. And that’s how we designed the content that we’ve worked on with Innovate Media.
Given so many people involved, we had to work really hard on collaboration. And I think reflecting on the process, that is something really valued. Working with Innovate Media, as they were really able to inform that process, they helped us with the initial workshops to identify what consumer stories would actually complement the clinical content that we wanted to deliver. I don’t think we would have gotten the impact that we really were able to get in the final product without that initial planning. Something else that was really impactful in that collaboration piece was the variety of different stories that we were able to tell.
So we had longer consumer stories where we were able to, you know, really deep dive into that person and the drivers for that individual. We had shorter snippets which really spoke volumes of the human element and, you know, allowed people to be a bit more candid and open with us as well. And then we also had role plays, too, and the role players really spoke to the specific skills that we need healthcare professionals to really be able to take up and use in their practice. One of the other important things with working with community members, with intellectual disability is the preparation, you know, to actually make people feel safe and empowered to tell their story.
It’s hard to get behind a camera for most people. Um, and then add in complexities of managing communication challenges. Um, and Innovate Media were really flexible and agile in their approach, but also focused on creating that safe space where people could loosen up, have fun, but still be able to tell their story. I think involving innovate media early in the piece is really powerful. I was so grateful for the expertise that Innovate Media were able to provide when we were really framing up these consumer stories in the videos that helped deliver our vision.
But more than that, it helped us to actually create the positive change that we want to see in the community. When it comes to health outcomes, innovate media were collaborative and proactive. They weren’t the type of provider that, you know, we’re constantly following up for things, and that made our life so much easier. And being able to deliver this in a really tight timeline with lots of stakeholders involved, and that was really positive as well.
