Client:

Strive Occupational Rehabilitation are a group of practitioners across Queensland and work with organisations who want to improve the health and wellbeing of their staff.

Brief:

As part of their overall marketing and branding strategy, Strive OR came to Innovate Media wanting to increase their business’s brand awareness and determine what their messages should be to showcase their point of difference using video format for website use and social media.

Strategy:

The initial phase of any new project at Innovate Media is the complementary 1-hour Video Strategy Discovery Session where Innovate Media’s Creative Director, Ben Amos digs down with the client to determine their real needs and gains a full picture of the business and their current standing in the market before suggesting a suitable course of action. 

Out of this session, it was decided that a Brand Story Package was the best strategy for Strive OR to implement, which covers a 2-hour Story Mapping Session, full production of a 2-3 minute Brand Awareness Video which is shot at the client’s location, and training on how to utilise and maximise the exposure of the video marketing content for maximum ROI.

All key business stakeholders are recommended to attend a Story Mapping Session. For Strive OR, Ben Amos balanced the views and influences for the story from the business’ three Directors through a series of interview questions. The key goal and message for the video to differentiate their service was through their human-centred approach in contrast to the ‘big guy’ competitors in the industry, whilst maintaining a strong professional position with their corporate partners.

The storytelling process then moved to the script writing phase which, in this case, involved putting together a series of interview-style questions. During the shoot these were asked off-camera to lead the interviewees into a natural, conversation style response which covered the key strategy messages. 

Finally, in the editing and post-production phase, the story truly came to life where the most succinct and impactful statements were gathered and woven in with additional ‘b-roll’ footage, motion graphics and soundtrack to create an inspiring and engaging brand awareness story.

Success Metrics:

The Directors of Strive Occupational Rehabilitation are very pleased with the way their business was portrayed and differentiated against their competitors. It is still early days in the distribution strategy timeline, but the video posts on social media so far have received numerous positive feedback comments and the views continue to increase.
