Client:

The Owner Builders Club, ownerbuilderclub.com.au educates everyday Australians to understand and navigate the owner builder process.

Requirement:

Owner Builder Club had existing course material that they wanted to sell and deliver as elearning, or online video training content through their website as passive income. They came to Innovate Media with a plan to shoot the series and required help with how to present and promote it.

Process:

Through Innovate Media’s Video Strategy Planning session, the video requirements were drilled down and outlined as a series of 12 online training videos and a website sales pitch video which introduced the course. With guidance on how to prepare for the shoot, what to wear, how to present and how to write their scripts, TOBC went ahead to compile their material and branded graphic visuals. 

During the shoot Liz, the presenter was coached on using the teleprompt and made comfortable so that her on-screen delivery appeared natural and professional. 

The post-production editing phase involved creating branded motion graphics titles, pulling out key messages of the script for text overlays and integrating the supplied powerpoint-style graphics with a punchy soundtrack. Once the overall look and feel was established and approved, it was rolled out to the full suite. The approvals process for the online training series was quick and streamlined using a cloud based collaboration system which easily captured change requests and comments for all stakeholders to see in live time.

Success Metrics:

The Owner Builder Club were so delighted with the results of the production that they have since completed a second series of online training videos with Innovate Media.
