Essilor Australia. Essilor is the world leader in prescription lenses, providing solutions for the vision of over 7.4 billion people worldwide.

Requirement:

During the Covid-19 forced lockdowns of 2020, Essilor Australia needed a remote method of continuing communications with their client base and a replacement for internal staff training and roadshows.

Process:

Because they were unable to access video production studios, Innovate Media (working from home in Qld) provided Essilor (working from home in NSW) with guidance on purchasing suitable video recording equipment to set up a virtual recording studio at home. They then used online, remote recording studio software to film high resolution video with crystal clear, uncompressed audio. The remote recording studio allows Innovate Media to login as the “Producer” to direct the presenter(s) during the recording process, with further logins available for other collaborators to view and interact with the live recording process without being recorded themselves. 

Innovate Media then downloaded the footage and completed the usual professional post production editing steps as per Essilor’s regular training videos and internal comms video projects. Watch the video below where Tim Thurn of Essilor explains the remote recording process…
