Client:
This client is the world’s largest optical manufacturer and retailer. Their retail network covers some 600 locations in Australia and New Zealand.
Requirement:
With the launch of a new sunglasses product, unique technical information needed to be included in the sales pitch for two of their retail brand’s sales teams. For a product that captures photos and video, a sales training video of the suggested sales script is an obvious training tool in an era where sales directors were unable to travel to present in-person training sessions.
Process:
Two versions of a suggested sales discussion were shot at store locations in Sydney. One featured a specific line of talking points for prescription lenses and the other for talking points on the non-prescription range. The features and benefits of the product are explained in a natural, conversational style roll play between a ‘sales person’ and ‘customer’ with text overlays of instructions and supplied branded visual and audio integrated into the edit.
Given the internal nature of these staff training videos, we have only shown stills of the production.
