Brief:

Moreton Bay Regional Council recently launched the campaign ‘Invest Moreton Bay, Queensland’ to promote business and investment growth in the areas of Advanced Manufacturing; Food and Agribusiness; Tourism, Sport & Major Events; and Knowledge, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The social hashtag #TeamMoretonBay was developed to help business and community partners from around the region to share the goals and real experiences they have achieved in working towards the council’s Economic Development Strategy.

Dtb! Advertising brought Innovate Media into the project to develop a series of business case studies. These were to document the real stories of six successful #TeamMoretonBay businesses, as well as develop an introductory video piece promoting the Invest Moreton Bay key messages. The primary platform for distributing the business case study videos were Linkedin and their website, investmoretonbay.com.au.

Process:

The ‘Invest Moreton Bay’ campaign overall concepts, branding and graphics were developed by dtb! Advertising which we worked into our story development and editing process. We consulted with dtb! on the case study story selection and script refinement as well as the video marketing strategy for distribution and social media variations. 

The production involved three full days of location shoots with a 3 person crew (director / camera / stills photographer) with both conventional 4K and drone cameras. The post production elements included rich media editing of all our footage and client supplied B-roll with branded motion graphics and text overlays. 

The overall project deliverables involved multiple edits of the seven main case study videos for various social media platforms and website usage, including; square format with captions, 10 second, 30 second and full length versions. 

Success Metrics:

The end client was delighted with the documented stories and overall production quality. Working in collaboration with dtb! Advertising was a smooth operation, with the three-way reviewing process of multiple stakeholders each made simple with our cloud based collaboration workflow platform. Trusted Advertising-, Marketing-, Events- (etc) Agency partnerships like this are a valued part of our core business and prove to be a successful method of expanding the agency’s offering into video marketing.
