Client:
Accelerate Off Grid Touring design and produce premium, custom-built off-grid touring setups for tourers and caravans, featuring auto electrics, Air Conditioning and all things to do with 4×4 vehicles. The husband and wife owned business is based in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast, and have grown their YouTube channel following to almost 10,000 subscribers, with over 3.3 million views across their YouTube library. They also have 10,000 followers on Facebook and 5,400 on Instagram.
Requirement:
Briohny and Andrew, the owners behind Accelerate Off Grid Touring understand the power of video and the lead generating opportunities and reach that video marketing presents. They have worked with Innovate Media since 2009 in developing video content for their business and their YouTube channel. The business was originally known as Accelerate Auto Electrics and Air Conditioning and as the business branched off into the off grid touring space, a separate brand was created. Even though they were already creating content for their channel inhouse, the couple came to Innovate Media to tell their new brand story professionally – in a way that connected and aligned them with their customers and showed how they love what they do. They also wanted to demonstrate two client testimonials in a genuine, inspiring manner.
Process:
Innovate Media’s Brand Story Package A kicks off with a 2-hour Story Mapping Session. We take the time to understand the business then, along with all the key stakeholders involved, plan out the goals and content of a 2-3 minute Brand Awareness Video which is shot at the client’s site and two, 1-2 minute client testimonial videos which are filmed at the individual client’s locations.
Next in the storytelling process our creative team develops a series of interview questions and conducts a pre-interview over the phone with each participant to ensure the key points of their story are covered and their message is in parallel with the business’ goals. We ensure that the interviewee is comfortable, enjoys the process and isn’t stressed or burdened by the volunteering of their time.
The filming production segment occurs over several days, as determined by the availability of the interviewees with a 4 hour shoot for the main brand story and two hours for each of the video testimonials.
Finally, in the editing and post-production phase, the story comes to life where the various interview responses, b-roll footage, motion graphics and soundtrack are united for an engaging brand awareness story.

Successful feedback like this demonstrates that the goal of brand positioning in the AWARENESS phase of a client’s video marketing strategy has been reached. This is where emotional decisions about brands or products are made subconsciously and video content such as brand stories, client stories and video blogs can really make a difference in the overall video marketing strategy.
